Come on! Tell us what you've bought lately! We like to hear! Very little in the modeling line, but I did buy a new (to me) pickup. Craig Speaking of "new" cars, I did buy this last month: 2004 Dodge Durango.... 5.7 Hemi, 4WD, 150k with all the bells and whistles.

Since people are posting their wheels, here's mine - just got it last month. Nice! I like how it has fenders - it'll keep the mud off when you come up a visit me and go on the Hiawatha trail that has the 2.5 mile tunnel, which is pitch black, wet, cold, and somewhat dangerous! Last time I did this trail I my front head light feel off and ran over it while going like hell down one of the declined which made going thru the dark tunnels very difficult then later on I blew out my front tire going thru one of the tunnels.....I was 5 miles from the finish....the worst thing about it was when I was limping to the end people would ride up along side me a say "Hey you have a flat tire" .........WELL NO KIDDING as I was skidding and bumping up and down!! www.ridethehiawatha.com/

The fender was an ad-on, I ride year round and in rain and snow/slush. I also had riser handlebars and the luggage rack put on. I hate crouching over, especially with a backpack full of heavy groceries (yes, I use it to go grocery shopping too). The handlebars let me sit upright. Would love to try that trail - that tunnel sounds crazy. Just found a nice stretch of road here with a bicycle lane that lets me do a 500 foot incline in just about 5 miles (in the mountains that's not hard, but I'm a good 20 miles from the mountains).

Grocery shopping? What are you, some kinda Rocky Mountain Hippie? I understand. My brother has been racing bikes for decades, velodrome, cyclocross, the whole nine yards. Still competes for wins at 68. I only wish I was in the shape my big brother is. Calvin, I'm guessing that Oregon is an even better place than California for cycling. I've been to Portland only once for a convention and rented a car to spend a day driving along the gorge (don't remember the name), checking out the waterfalls and then went up to Mt. Hood. Spectacularly beautiful. Never got into bicycles, but more power to you guys. I kept twisting the right handgrip and pulling on the left hand brake to downshift for those blasted hills! I might like one of those new electric bicycles though. Me = Lazy A**! MJ

Just ordered 1 of Lance's 64 Foyt conversions. Just received mine. Very nice, as expected from Lance. And just prior to that I received his Mallard. That is spectacular. Anxiously awaiting the McLaren M15 Also bought the new Revell Mustang LX 5.0 cuz I used to have one just like it. MJ

I just ordered a new toilet today for the down stairs bathroom! I hope its a high performance one - not one of those low flow things that don't flush anything....make sure to get an Olsonite toilet seat! (Just for the sake of indy history)

I got another damn boat today..... Miss Thriftway TOO....not 2....or Two....or II........ BUT TOO! I need to do some more research on this so I can further my geekiness, but I can tell you right now it was cool looking BIG A$$ hydroplane with little success. As far as I know it was the first 'Cab Over" Hydro...... I'm going to build the 1957 version that has the Mahogany Hull...but my problem is how in the world em I going to add the wood grain in 1/48 scale?

Do the same as I did when I built RC Hydros, use the real thing, Mahogany Veneer, nothing beats the real thing.
