How difficult will it be to open the 3D parts (distributor, in particular) to secure the spark plug wires? I understand the 3D parts are very brittle, or is the "slot" for the wires deep enough to hold those wires without further carving? --Frank They need to be drilled out. You're going to need a pin vise and drill bit to match your wire. It is not the easiest thing to work with, but I managed to do so without screwing it up. i recommend using the thinnest wire you can find. The wire I used was a bit thicker than I would have liked and of course after it was finished I found thinner wire.

Sadler21 will be helping out on this also - he will be supplying black vinyl straps like the one behind the second fuel filler in the above photo.

Looks awesome, but those pin stripes look like they could be a nightmare! A thing of beauty, well worth the wait.

So it's....yellow? How many of these do you plan on making for sale, 'cause I would think all of us will want one. I didn't notice when I was at the 500 this year, but after I got home and was looking at my photos I took in the garage, Taglianai's car was carrying this paint scheme, which is totally cool. he needs to run it next year.

John I can't tell you how many time's I've 'adjusted' the decals for fit and ease of use - they probably won't be as bad to work with as they look, but I will be recommending applying them without trimming right to the stripes - if you want to remove the clear film, trim it after application.

The first release - this winter - will be very limited due to the fact that our production window for resin casting is running out. The number we've tossed around is 20. Production will resume in the spring. and yes. It's yellow.

Actually I think everyone that has ever bought Indycals for the first time and gets one of those famous Beyond, Pennzoil and now Wasp sheets will go....what heck! the red is pink! or faded!

A real instruction sheet would have five different languages printed. Seriously I love it!

And, of course, that has to be the sickest instruction sheet ever. Even Etzel would gag at the detail. With these instructions and a pair of MPC Bearcats even I could create this model (which, by the way, has been on my to do list since before this web site was created). I just hope I live long enough for you to finally make it available. Please do not pull an Ebbro vis a vis the Lotus 88. pbh

Before the end of the year is looking possible. 3d parts are on their way to me right now. Looks like the logjam will be finishing the instructions, figuring packaging and dotting the i's and crossing the t's.

dotting the i's and crossing the t's. Which is always the case when developing a new kit.....those famous unforseen problems and mistakes.

This is cool listening to how a kit is formulated and brought together. Thanks to all of you pathfinders we get to enjoy putting together these cool cars.

I/we can't thank you for doing this. This is a car missing from most of our collections and how could they be complete without it. To do this in time for the 100th running is really special. If I am lucky enough to eventually get one, I will put my other projects on hold to do this one first. This is a kit to build. Jim
