Just poured the first body. The shape of the body required a new mold that was different than anything I had tried before. The challenges were to get the mold to fill with resin, vent properly and removal of the master and castings without damage to them or the mold.

Was hoping to get 30 pours out of the mold for the body, ended up getting 24, pouring a new mold today. The mold is a plug mold, after pulling the plug with the body from the main mold, the plug is then slid out the rear of the casting after separating the vent spru from the body (located on the bottom of the tub).

I always wondered how this was done. So there is an inner and outer mold. I assume the resin must be injected under pressure of some sort?
That's very impressive Lance, thanks for showing us.

Still pouring resin, 74 tubs are done, will stop at 80 and begin on pouring the other smaller parts.

Jim,
The pet you mentioned could be ‘cat’astrophic.
It’s alright, I’m leaving. . . Dan
