Several of the members, including Stu, Michael, Mike and Ralph are collaborating on a 1/18 scale Watkins Glen winner, which is listed on eBay. ALL PROCEEDS from the sale of this car will go directly to the family memorial fund!!
Check it out, eBay # 141758815907, like a Chicago election, bid early and bid often!!

Some guys have asked if they can donate to this project. Therefore, I have been tasked to set up a Paypal account that guys here can donate to defer some of the costs of doing this build: donors, shipping, paint, etc. Stu is doing the build but wings, rims, decals, and donor car are all having to be shipped to him.
If you want to help, you can Paypal all money to justinwilsonfund@darwin.cc
When you send money, let me know if you would like to be marked anonymous. Please send all funds as gifts in Paypal so there are no transaction fees. I will be running point on managing the account but there will be agreement among the mods and admins before payments made from our collection of donations. There will be transparency in the management of the donations as I will be setting up a Google Spreadsheet to show donation receipts and payments out. Once the expenses reimbursements are paid, all excess funds will go directly to the Justin Wilson Children's Fund.

Stu has the donor coming to him so once it arrives, there will be a WIP here, too.

Schmidt posted a video of Hinch buying 15 shirts. Stickers are already gone and the shirts are mostly sold. The staff in the Indycar merch tent told Hinch they (only) started the day with 600 shirts.

Glad to see it! MJ

Yes. Some thanks go to Ralph for doing the wings, exhaust ports, mirrors and camera. Jordan for providing the wheels, John Edwards for providing the donor car, Michael doing the decals and Steve for doing EBAY and promotion work. I asked Trevor to help get the word out and I am sure he is but is probably very busy with race day stuff right now. Thanks for all the support from everyone on the site as well. This car will be from everyone, not just a select few. 48 bids and $910 so far!

I'm helping with some decals too. Notably, the 6th Avenue Electronics and ALFA Livery stuff. Also got vector of the proper number font, Sonny's, and Z-Line Designs logos to Michael. Aldo is on a cruise, he will have his logo to me when he returns on Monday.

It is over 1,300. I do not think it will last long. I hate to see all the other Justin Wilson stuff coming out of the wood work again. At least this is helping the family. Great ideal and hats off to all those doing this car. Truly would be center of your collection. I wish I could have it but I think it is going and has gone over my price range.

I will bid now and hopefully but would not be bad if I did not get out bid. I really do not think 1,300 is going to last.

I received the donor car from John Edwards of 500 Legends and the 14 Point Panoz wheels from our very own Jordan. Thanks guys! On the way are the decals from Michael and Wings, camera, mirrors and exhaust ports from Ralph. If anyone else wants to help out, we could really use a nice dispay base with arcylic cover. First thing for me to do was strip the car and remove the camera/airbox. (This will be replaced later with a resin piece from Ralph) I also removed all the plastic pieces and the mirrors which will be replaced. Next, because the car we are doing is from Watkins Glen, I had to fill the fuel fill holes on the left side and drill out the metal fuel fill cover of the right side. (Also filled the old mirror holes because the new mirrors were in a different position. Next I needed to add the "slats" that were part of the body work above the front suspension. Greenlight missed these when they originally cast the body. That's it for now! More soon!
