I used a custom mix of enamel shot through an airbrush, makes it easier to control paint aplication in the aarea of the radiator outlets.

Looking nice! FYI for those that like rattle cans Tamiya TS-56 Brilliant Orange is the official color for any Mclaren.....Dont be fooled by old pictures or video that looks like so kind of yellow or off orange because time and time again this has been proven wrong.....its always TS-56 for any Mclaren....Period .

I could not resist playing with it a little, may have to thin down the rear wing a bit to improve the fit with the engine cover.

Beautiful Lance. ALL McLarens should be this color. In fact, when I buy my new MP4/12C, I'm insisting it be painted this color. :-) Looking forward to this. MJ

Wow. And considering that web site, there is at least a small possibility that at least part of that story may be true. MJ

Just incountered my first real issue with this build, nothing that can't be dealt with, but I may have to re-mold the body.

Should also be noted for those who like McLaren Orange, on race day the Revson car had no blue stripes on the wing.

I'm sure none of us would notice whatever it is you've encountered, but the fact you go to such great pains on your projects is what makes all of us such loyal patrons. I sincerely appreciate your efforts to get things perfect before releasing this kit. I know it will be worth the wait.

Looks pretty amazing to me as is. Look forward to it, no matter how long it takes. The rear suspension looks fantastic.
Nice to know about the blue on the wing - though I kind of like it.
