That motor is a work of art all on it's own. The plumbing looks fantastic! Whose fittings did you use?

Thanks for all the great comments guys....That motor is a work of art all on it's own. The plumbing looks fantastic! Whose fittings did you use? John Hey John....I used a combination of Pro-Tech (aluminum pieces ) and TOP STUDIO-Detail Master( Resin). I found them on ebay.
T-riffic! Patrick PS-410...means what? Remember you're talkin' to a F1 fan.
Patrick...410 is the cubic in. There are to major classes in sprintcars...410 and 360. 410 ALL run Aluminum blocks and the 360's ALL run cast Iron. The price difference between the two class are roughly $20 K. 410's will set a team back between 50-60K. The 360's are in the area of $30-40 K. Not even close to what an F1 team spends on one engine.....

Gary, what you have plumbed is exactly what I have wanted to do with my 410.
Unfortunately, it ain't gonna look like that masterpiece. Very impressive!

MJ Heck MJ....you can do just as good as what I did. It just takes a little more time. Thanks for the comments and look-in... Gotta get you over to Petaluma Speedway Patrick! :-) MJ I didn't know that there was a Dirt Track there. Of course...there's probably about a Kagillion(one of my Granddaughters words) Tracks that I don't know about. I'm still learning about ALL the Tracks on the WEST coast...LOL I think you'd really enjoy watching the 410's run Patrick. Make sure you take CLEAR goggles with you though...it keeps the dirt out of the eyes. Try not to sit in the turn 4 or 1 bleachers either....unless you like dirt in your Beer....LOL

Here's an update to show that I have been working on this thing...LOL The seat is in. The Wheels and tires are finished along with ALL the wiring for the engine. The engine is mounted to the firewall and will go into the chassis today. Hope to get the Racing Harness completed and in today also....(well...tomorrow maybe...). The top wing end plate braces need to be fabbed and installed...hopefully that will be in a few days. This build is really headed down the home stretch now.

Thanks for ALL the kind words folks.....I got more finished today. I had to re-do a few things that I built out of sequence. Not a big deal but...it's a re-do. I didn't get the racing harness built today...hopefully tomorrow. Once that's complete...the whole thing starts to come together. Oh yea...I can smell the Methanol now(at a distance....mind you....LOL) .......Hmmmm Hmmmmmm Hmmmmmm.......

Well folks....Here's an update on the chassis. The Racing harness was fabbed along with the two head nets(window nets) and added. Getting that accomplished was the key to finishing the chassis. Now...the firewall/engine can be mounted and the rest of the body panels will go on. Hope fully that will be done this week...Thanks for looking in folks....

Well..get the PUSH Truck...This car is finished. I will post a few finished engine pics with the wing and then without. The pics without the wing really bring back some great memories and also makes me want to build a 70's wingless car. Kinda along the GRANT KING style of car. Thanks for looking in on this build folks. The finished engine...
With the WING...
