Thanks for the compliment Patrick. This really is something. I live close to Bloomington Speedway, an ancient 1/4 mile track, that has been home to all of the Kinsers. I manage to get there several times a year for the Friday night shower of red, southern Indiana clay. Your car should be ready to go in the Spring. Can't wait to see it. Oh, I forgot; it's not full size. Damn, my eyes are getting bad. Your work on the shocks is mind-blowing. Jim Hey Jim....It should be finished by next Spring...or I think I might be in a little trouble...LOL The Kinser Clan is really something special aren't they? As we ALL probably know....Steve has set the Championship bar so HIGH...I don't think anyone will touch it. At least not in my lifetime. A little update here...All the suspension has been mocked up and adjusted so it will go together a whole lot easier after everything is painted. All the fabbing is complete and it's off to the paint both now. I'll post update pics when there's something with paint on it...Thanks for looking in folks...

Jim Jim, I went to Sprint Weeks in 2012 and had a blast, even if several events were rained out. Got a chance to go to Bloomington and the age and history of this place was palpable. (I think the bench I was sitting on was 100 years old!) I picked up a Sheldon Kinser hoodie I wear to all the races at Petaluma Speedway. I just can't understand how anyone would rather live here in California than in Indiana. There is a sprint car race somewhere every night it seems. Oh yeah. Forgot about the winters. Great build! I wish I was half as far along (and half as good) with my non-winged car I've been working on. For-ever. MJ

Here's progress update...Putty( 2nd coat) is on the body panels that needed it. It looks like a lot of putty...but is really not. It sands off real easy. Also...All the body attachment points on the chassis have been completed and it will be ready for primer. A soon as this putty is dry...it will be prepped and it also will be primed...Hopefully...today. Here's a pic to show some progress....

The REAR nerf bars are also in mock up to get touch up paint done....thanks for looking in folks....

Here's an update....the Engine has been shot in 3or4 shades of Alclad. I was talking with Todd and found out that they didn't have the breathers on the Left Valve cover. Instead..they ran the tube setup that ran from the front of each valve cover with only one breather in the center. Of course....I had the first set of valve covers finished and ready to apply....LOL..no biggie...didn't have them on yet. I also got ALL the body panels and wing end plates painted the Metallic silver that they ran. Here's a few pics....The valve covers are in mockup along with the Tank.....

Thanks for the compliment clm.... Man, it's looking so good! What silver did you go with on this one? Thanks again ART. The body paint is Dupli-color....DSSCC-338 Radiant Silver Metallic in a 4 oz. touch up spray. I de-canted it and shot it with the air brush. I'm going to shoot a little clear on all panels as it looks a little TOO BRIGHT. The clear should subdew it just a tad.....

Thanks Duane....I've managed to get 1/2 of the plumbing done on the front of the engine. After I get that ALL complete...I'll mount it to the firewall and then finish the rest. I've got most of the small detail paint complete. I'd really like to get the chassis up on it's feet by this weekend...but....we'll wait and see...
