Since its nothing exciting I'll just go ahead and say its just a rear and front wings. I really wished it was a 1/25 Borg Warner Trophy, I've always thought that it would be kinda neat to have one sitting by every winning car model that we build. Just for a good picture

I've seen a mini-Borg, someone had one at the Memorabilia Show a few years ago. Bill J maybe? Lance? I kick myself now for not buying one.

Hey guys, what is the deal with the fuel filler? I see pictures with it, and without on the side. Was it that they ran it without the opening for qual, and with it for the race? The one in the museum does not have it on the side. I am at the point that I need to make a decision which way to go.

I'd just go with the fuel inlet. IMO a race version is more important than a Qual. set up. Besides the decals are designed around the race day setup.

This summer the Cat will be back! I've been updating the body and suspension....I'll keep updating this WIP as it comes along. A couple years ago Lance gave me all the dimensions of the body. Its going to be very builder friendly this time around. Right now I'm just working on getting the dimensions to match and then I'll start cleaning it up to look pretty

I think I have the rear rocker arm suspension figured out? But I have no idea what this part of the suspension is called where I highlighted in the pic below....

The front-to-rear pieces are the rocker arm pivots. The diagonal items are braces/reinforcements (stays to some, but I think "stays" would imply bolt-on pieces, rather than welded). --Frank

THIS might be the one that gets me to try building a resin model. One of my all time favorite cars!

These photos don't look like what is in the back of the museum Wildcat. To me, the museum Wildcat's rear suspension looks very similar to the 1982 Ferrari 126C2. I have some spare rear suspension pieces in 1/24th scale if you think they would help you.

At this point I don't think I need any help on the suspension...I already have that figured out to a point. It's the basic shape of this Weismann Transverse transaxle that is what I'm hung up on.....

I'll be at the race car shop tomorrow and I think we have a couple of these Trans axles if so i'll get some photos and send them to you.

That would be wonderful! Thank you Walt!
All I know is the 1982 Wildcat was the first to win with a Weismann Transverse.
