To somewhat answer Paul's question I think it depends on which kind of air scope and exhaust layout it was for the heat shield. Almost every March was different.

I've never seen those heat shields on an 86C, but frankly, you guys are SOL on that matter.

I had to revise a couple of the parts, but I got them back to day and I can now show a mockup with a complete exhaust/turbo configuration.

Just got my resin parts from Calvin. I'm sure that some of the parts I've been sending him between this and the Wasp has had him cursing my name quite a lot, but he is really stepping up to the plate!

I have never cussed at you! I always cuss myself out because my advisor Craig, always tells me, "it's self-inflicted!"

It's just as well, that Calvin doesn't pay me for my advice, since he very seldom takes it.

Placement of turbocharger - it needs to go in perpendicular to the gearbox with the intake side facing the back. Plenum attachment Exhaust placement. All pics I've seen of 86C engines had white pipes. Still need to weather them. And here's an under tray pic

That looks good! I'm glad you are moving right along on yours as I sure haven't got any further on mine - too much huge rubber molds and crap all over the place! My place looks like a factory in a 3rd world country right now. I need a separate building spot (a "clean desk" - for building) but don't have the room!

What, Calvin? You don't have a sterilized clean room, with white tile floors, stainless steel walls, and an air-lock entrance? --Frank

You will need to file away part of the gearbox as indicated here. The circles are suspension mounting holes that can be filled in as they won't be needed: The upper suspension pieces need to be mounted to the hubs, and the A-arms need to be removed (indicated by green) So that the finished result looks like this: This is how the rear suspension goes together Those rods attached to the hub will need to be glued to the silver crossmember and the finished suspension, just needing the shock absorbers
