Alright boys and girls - here is your chance to impress us all with your knowledge. Who's going to win? Darkhorse? Etc?

What do we get if we win?
I'll just guess.........Scott Dixion
Just guessing, not rooting for him, just being realistic.
Darkhorse - Sato
Etc. - A Chevy front row but a Honda will win (like I basically already said above)

Oh geez, a month ago I would have said Scott Dixon for win #2, but now I think sato is really strong, but I just have a feeling in my bones that Marco is going to bring it home for the Andretti name, hope I didn't jinx him

I'll take Marco ... again. Let's get some prizes like we had last year. I'm sure that I can find something to donate.

My dark horse is Graham Rahal. Perhaps it's wishful thinking...

but I just have a feeling in my bones that Marco is going to bring it home for the Andretti name, hope I didn't jinx him IMO.......my very silly opinion........the only way an Andretti is going to win at Indianapolis again is if Andy Granatelli kisses Marco on the cheek before the race............and........that should kill off the Andretti curse from 1969. ;D

I can't wait !

Looking forward to my first 500 in 48 years (!). Based on how they are running, and the apparent maturation of the driver, I gotta go with Taku. I watched the first rear-engined car win, maybe I'll see the first Japanese driver win.
My darkhorse - Ed Carpenter. Great on ovals, good team management, you never know. Maybe by winning the 500 TG would lose his desire to own the whole thing. We can hope...

Kurt Busch I hear he's in Phase III of ROP...if he passes he might try Double Duty this year. But I'm picking Power because he's due for a break and some luck and what better place than Indy! Maybe he's headed toward a year like Dario had last year. Also think Marco will be a threat.

Anybody that's new and not Ganassi or Penske. Would love Sato and Hinch but would double love an American perhaps Hunter Ray, Marco or Newgarden. Lot's of contenders this year but Ganassi and Penske will certainly be ready.

My pick is Ryan Hunter-Reay for the win, justifying his loyalty to Andretti and my dark horse is Sato, both he and Foyt have looked solid so far, plus he wants to erase last year's memory

This year seems wide-open since Penske and Ganassi have not dominated. Of course, its just been road and street courses so far where that tends to happen more.

I'll be rooting for Penske (of course) and hoping the #12 does it this year.
I think RHR, Sato, and the balance of the Andretti team get the nod as favorites going in. Which is why I wanted people to chime in before cars take to the track, for me it is hard to tell who will be doing better at the big oval. Hard to handicap engines this year, too. I'll just be happy if there is no "Turbogate" this year!
Darkhorse: I'd like to see Newgarden do it and give SFH Racing a much needed boost or Hildenbrand to make amends for 2011.

I think it's Marco's year and I say that not being a fan of his. It would also be great for the sport to have an Andretti win the 500.
My dark horse is Servia. They have been running very well the last few races and are in need of something big to save there season.

It's hard to bet against Andretti this year, but my pick is Helio for his 4th. My dark horse is Ed Carpenter. Take Care Craig

The cool thing is with this formula, at this stage about half the field looks like realistic potential winners. Of course last year the game changed once the race started and you needed a Honda to have a shot.
Who do I want to win? Definitely Kanaan.
If Chevy shows up with the edge, I'd go with Marco. He wants it more than RHR, Penske doesn't have the best hand at the moment, TK always finds a way to lose. If things go Honda's way again, I think Sato takes it. Foyt's on a roll this year, Conway looked very strong last year until he overshot his pit stall, and Taku wants to make up for last year.

Tony Kanaan for sure. The field is wide open. This is the best racing I have seen for a long time and we have only had street and road courses so far. Hinch would be good but love to see Sato or Marco. God speed to all the drivers this year and the fans.

I would like for TK, Power, The Dinger, or Andretti to win... But It will mos likely be DARIO, Dixion, or maybe Helio, if Penkse fans are lucky Newgarden, Sato & Rahal are my dark horses-
Now that i"ve named 9 people, I can't Loose LOL-

Wow, was surprised to see the Rahal team clueless today with Jourdain's car. Surprised they didn't have another few cars in the stable for him to try to get up to speed.

Rahal had other cars sitting there but under the rules they cant have engines in them.. so by the time they figured out Jordains chassis was a Pig there wasnt enough time to swap out the engine... Just getting the car to fit Graham took 5 hours!!! then switching it back.. seems to me they could have thought about this last night! Chris

Super bummed about Michel...looked up to him ever since his days at Herdez. Just sucks to see my fellow country man not make the field. Hard to believe that RLL who almost won last year are kinda lost this year. Sounds like Graham and James finally got their cara figured out. Wish they could have found what was wrong with Michel's...
