Not only that but this has to be the first front row where all cars numbers are in the 20s. While there have been front rows with all single digit numbers on numerous occasions, I bet this is the only front row with all double numbers from the same grouping of 10 - ie all numbers in the 20s, all numbers in the 30s, etc.
#20's best previous starting position was 2nd: Gordon Johncock in 1975 and 76
Ed is also the first driver/owner to win the pole since AJ Foyt in 1975.

Looks like the Carpenter/Andretti alliance is working out from Q results.

The fact that an owner / driver won the pole, is a testament to the competitiveness currently in Indy car racing, nice not to see Penske or Ganassi dominating the front row, race day I am sure will be completely different.

I think if we ever want a kit of the DW12 we all need to root for Sato.

Well, I didn't pick Tony, and ... I can't remember the last time I felt this good about someone winning the 500. IMHO ... that was a great race.

PS. Where do I get one of those good luck charms?

I totally picked TK to win. He was the first name I uttered, Lol.. Then I named several behind him... HOw about This Prediciotns On this weekends Race! I Remember when they still ran Milwaukee Mile right after the 500- I guess that wasn't too long ago in the grand scheme of things- But the way Marco is driving right now and how hard it is to pass that MILE.. I've got him wining this race, and re-asserting him self as the INDYCAR points leader-
