If you print these out and take them to fed ex kinkos and have them printed out to the wheel base, they should be very helpful. wheelbase of 110in. is 4 inches and 3/8 Th's in 1/25th scale. Lance

I messed around with dimensions with the 83 March and as far as I can tell the Drawings that you posted Lance are right on (after I sized them up to 1/25 scale), I might argue with the radiator exits but everything else I seem to agree with. I'd say I'm about 78% accurate so far with this car....after do some sanding tomorrow it should be about 85% there.
After I cast my first 83 it'll be an easy modification to make an 84.

Calvin, show us a straight down photo. From the straight on photo of the front, it looks like you have more material on the right side of the nose/front suspension area. I would leave it gray and lay down a centerline on the car as you did with the Wildcat.

The fairings for the rocker arm mounts look a little too prominent. If you have the 83 Hungness yearbook, look at the pic at the bottom of page 89.

There were two different rocker arm fairings on the 83 March! Again, using the 83 yearbook.... look at Fabi's car at the top of page 92... then compare it to the #70 Dennis Firestone March on page 94

If you have the 83 Hungness yearbook, look at the pic at the bottom of page 89. Kinda Ironic that you say that because I have an 83 yearbook on its way, I actually bought the Hungness year books from 75,76,78,79,81,83,and 84 a few days ago off of the IMS gift shop for $10 each and they should be here tomorrow! So Michael I'll take a look tomorrow. LOL But yeah your right they need to be "calmed" down a little...

Firestone's qualifying shot on page 120 also clearly shows the larger fairings. Amazing what one notices after 28 years!

I take that back, the pics I've been looking at all seem to have the same size fairing. What your looking at with Firestone's car must be a very big difference?.....I guess I'll just have to wait 'tel tomorrow to see what you are.

The fairings would be different because there was Rocker type suspensions (factory) and Push Rod suspensions used like on Foyt's car. Chris

But to follow up on your comment, I dont ever recall seeing an 83 March with that big of fairings!!! The thing about trying to look a pics of the Texaco star or Skoal March is the Stripes that go down over the curve of the fairings - thats hard for my eyes to really see the shape....So I've been looking at other cars that have a single color on the nose area.

What will you figure to use as a donor?

What will you figure to use as a donor? This is going to be another complete kit. So no worries about getting a donor. I'm using the same PC6 curbside engine with March 86c suspension parts.....Im really happy with how R&D has been going with that. Im also using modified AMT March wheels.

No Worries, I'm going to make Wildcats for a long time. I'll make so many that people will start using then as donor kits for other cars.

My apologies for being late with this...Calvin, you are amazing! Very good work. Would you sell just the body? A March F1 is very possible.

Would you sell just the body? A March F1 is very possible. Patrick Once I get things all settled down and have things organized, I'll sell you or anyone any body or part you want. Once I'm position to do that kind of selling trust me I'll let everyone know.

also a note to everyone, dont feel obligated to build any of my kits box stock - do what you want with then, change what you want with then.....it doesn't bother me.
