It's coming along. Waiting on tires from R & M. The engine cover was a be-atch... I tried something new; I noticed a new pack of pens had some interestring curves, so I cut and trimmed them to make the bulge on the lower side... Outside view... Correct wheels but the tires are wrong. I just wanted to see where it was going... Now on to the cockpit and nose! Tim

Looking excellent! Can I ask what combination of parts make up this model? Thanks, -Art My guess is a 63 AMT Lotus. 68 Eagle engine, lots of scratchbuilding, and a gifted builder. Take Care Craig

Calvin;Jim;Craig; You'll never guess who showed up this weekend at the '65 Parnelli WIP...I'll be darned; that sure looks like....... It's Linda Vaughn! Miss Hurst Shifter! She's at Indy to promote the Agajanian Hurst Special, driven by Parnelli Jones I've never seen Miss vaughn in a tube (toob?) top before, but it does bear the Hurst logo! I think she must be pining for the tires to get here...and the nose...and the cockpit... [ If you're gonna compete with TWLAMWT(the worlds longest and most watched thread) of the '82 Wildcat, you'll need to pull out all the stops...so Linda showed up... Hope you like her... Tim

Ah Tim....
Having met Miss Linda Vaughn a cou-ple of times....No "tube" top could hold those puppies back. She is a ture gift to all race fans that have been lucky enough to meet her, and of course, she has a really great rack!!! But her memory is something else! Great job on the figure!!!....but I think you need much more putty on her top, if you know what I mean...(Wink, wink, nudge, nudge...say no more!)
Russ
P.S. - Oh Calvin....Linda is more of an E than a DD if size matters?

Russ you beat me to the punch on the coment! I would've just said the model is really acurate except for the size of the rack! LOL! ;D

If there are any rules that you can't be "a dirty old man" I should be banned right away. I agree that more putty was needed, that is why I wanted a WIP. Looking at Linda takes a little time, for quite some time I did not know that she was blonde. Take Care Craig

Dang; hard to believe this started in February. Since the 82 Wildcat won the Off Season Buildorama, what came in second? Oh well... After several interuptions, I revisited this build...several pieces are not glued yet, and I have a little to go... A lot of scratch building...windscreen,fuel fillers, and decals to go... Also need to find Linda Vaughn for the photo shoot... Thanks for looking; next pictures should be of the finished model... Tim

Dear "The Machine", When you get older, things slow down... As a matter of fact, the car IS ready; Ms.Vaughn ISN'T. As soon as her surgery heals, she, the twins, and the car will make a grand entrance. Hopefully, this week. Stay tuned... Tim
