I do not believe that the road course wing kit is out yet. One positive is of the original four kits, only the McLaughlin kit is not sold out yet. Jordan I wasn't sure if anybody was working on a 3D printed after market wing set. The difficult part is making new sidepod humps, which have a different shape for the road course/short oval version. I've made the rest of the parts, but still trying to see if I can make that part fit/work.

Yup, those. Don't feel bad, a colleague was talking to Scott Dixon about the Speedway and Road Course details and he even admitted that he didn't pay much attention to the differences! I'm working on finishing up the wheel/brake/hub kits, which just by basis of how the kit was designed/manufactured is a cascade of new parts simply to a accommodate a different change.

I found some photos online and I see what you're saying. The roadcourse shape is more concave on the top surface and they run the side wicker in the speedway trim. Very subtle.

Powerslide has been a long time player in NASCAR decals for the scale model builders. Many moons ago, I used to help Mike with evaluating artwork before it went to the printer. He previously expressed interest in doing some IndyCar decals. I see he has announced his first sheet: Coming in July #14 Santino Ferrucci AJ Foyt Racing www.mikesdecals.com/coming-soon-i-8.htmlNo idea is Salvinos, IndyCals, etc are considering doing a sheet for this car. Jordan Listed as now available, also as a combo kit + decals = 84.99, seems reasonable but a bit pricey for me when I add the shipping and exchange rate.

Great looking model! Somehow I like the look of this better than the real car. Makes no sense but I appreciate what you have accomplished.

Thank you all very much for the kind words! Looking forward to seeing more of these on the site. Up next for me is Dario's Team Kool Green Reynard. Somehow it's my first Reynard build.

The Newgarden car looks great! I just started my Honda kit last night and slowly going at it. First thing hit me is the fuel buckeye L and R numbers were reversed! No biggie but some filing needed on that part and rear bulkhead bodywork A surface under the roll hoop as well. Letting glue set tonight.

Lovely job on that Newgarden car. I ordered the Scott Dixon car last week. I can't wait for it to get here. With that kit I will now have at least one model from every decade of Indy Cars from the 1950's to 2024. Hopefully lots more WIP's show up on this forum of the Salvinos' kits. This forum is has been an excellent reference source for so many details and potential issues during a build.

Does anybody know if Salvino's plans on re-releasing any of the kits, or are they gone once they sell out?

Does anybody know if Salvino's plans on re-releasing any of the kits, or are they gone once they sell out? That is an interesting question. At the DAAM model show and huge swap meet this past weekend, I did not see one single IndyCar kit either built or for sale in the vendor area. Now maybe I wasn't looking that hard, however I would have noticed a Scott Dixon model and it's for sale price in the vendor area....

They are not re-releasing any of them except the Indy winners. They have stated the Indy winners will always be available, except when they are out, but they will restock those. So far that's just Newgarden 2023, but Castro-Neves and Newgarden 2024 are coming soon.
