Hello and...

Hello all!

I am new to this site and a neophyte modelling/diecast enthusiast.  I am quickly becoming an addict!  My primary interest is in Indy car diecasts.  Time and energy ever permitting, I would like to become a model builder someday.  For now, I am researching all that I can.

I found this site via a model hunt for a 1982 Mario Andretti STP car which does not seem to be in existence except for perhaps the individual model builder world???  I think it is one of the coolest looking of all the Indy liveries.

Look under the 1979-1995 section for Indy Cars and search for "1982 Wildcat - Andretti" which will bring you to Tom Faletti's outstanding, award winning model of this car. It is really something. Welcome to this site and you are right about this car being special.

The impressive thing is, he used my first ever kit, to do that with. (I had no idea what I was doing back then lol)

Welcome. Absolutely some of the best builders anywhere are on this forum. Everyone here is generous with their knowledge and eager to help in any way. Your "addiction" is in good hands.
