Jerry: One of these days there is gonna’ be a knock on your door and I will be standing there saying “I have made this pilgrimage to visit the Suddeth Motor Racing Museum.” You crank out awesome models on a regular basis...perhaps we should call you “The Machine 2.0?”... Another beauty! Tim

Thank you for your kind words, as a result you get a lifetime pass to the Sudduth Racing Miniature Musueum!
Machine 2.0 sounds pretty good, I just wish I could produce resin kits like the original Machine!

Nice, clean, colorful build! Not in one of my areas of interest but any race car is a good race car!

Jerry, describe the magic needed to get those decals over the fender louvers. Great job!

Awesome. Very clean build. I didn't even know this car existed until Indycals came out with the sheet.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words, this was a fun build. As I said with my other Beemax 935, this kit was incredibly straightforward.
John, regarding the louvers, my method is to let the decal dry and slit the decal over the louvers with as sharp an X-Acto knife blade as possible. Once I do that, I hit it with Microsol and then let it dry. It is less exacting than I feared!
Calvin-I didn’t know about this car either, but once Michael released the Ricoh set I liked it so much I knew I had to build it!

The kit might be relatively easy but those surfaces you had to decal over are complex - front air dam, hood, louvers, etc.
Great job, Jerry. I, too, did not know this one but it is a cool looking car and your museum is another reason to visit Kentucky! You keep these at work, right?
