Hi Folks ! First time post and I first wanted to say this is a great site... I've seen some awesome looking models! I recently got several Tamiya T93/00 kits, both in speedway version and road course versions - as well as some great looking decals from Indycals. One thing I would like to ask is the clear plastic part on the right side of the engine cowl. It looks like it is suppose to replicate some sort of bulging screen? Is there a work around to make it more realistic? I was thinking about cutting out the inner part and forming my own screen. I must admit that I have no idea what this part is, what the purpose was, and how to enhance it to make it more realistic than just the clear plastic part. I'm so excited about building these kits - in fact I am building a shopping cart on the Indycals page as we speak! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It's a screen to keep debris out of the intake trumpet. I've seen several styles of it, and also some cars completely without it. Just do an internet search for Lola T93/00 pictures and you should find plenty.
