Does anyone know if there is a source for resin tires to replace the kit tires for the 1968 Eagles. I have 2 kits, but I've not started them yet and I've read the tires on these kits are problematic so I'd like to find some resin ones that will save me potential problems later. Thanks.

Hey Guys!!!
The replacement tires for the old MPC/AMT 1968 Eagle kit are part No.# T-40 from Replicas & Miniatures Company of Maryland, 317 Roosevelt Ave., Glen Burnie, MD 21051. They cost $5.95 a few years back, I have no idea what they cost now. Also, Norm does a GREAT conversion kit that has the old Offy Engine in it that turns the Gurney Eagle into the Unser's winning car. It's part No# RM-76 and it was $18.95 a few years back. Well worth it!! Hope this helps you!
