I should have the metal parts and new decals by the end of October and will start shipping the Foyt kit! I am not taking any more orders until all current orders are shipped, I plan to have all current orders completed by the end of Nov. If there is a demand for more I may do some more.

The last of the investment cast pieces for the metal parts is in, will be sending them out for production next week.

I am still plodding along at a slower pace than desired, spent the last week with the flu and am of now, hand pouring all the parts that were to be done in white metal. This is due to flaws I discovered in the investment castings for the metal parts and unexpected out of pocket medical expenses that my health insurance decided not to cover. I am still hoping to ship most all orders by the end of this month as I am scheduled for hand surgery in mid Dec.

So just for the fun of it I decided to do a little math, 57 resin parts per kit, 60 kit run = 3,420 parts to cast, God help me! I think the hand surgery will have to be re-scheduled.

Lance,
We can all wait on the kit - the hand is a lot more important!

Yep, what Jim said. A little more wait is not an inconvenience. Get that hand taken care of Lance.

My apologies for not posting in awhile but I have been without internet since Nov 8th. I currently have 30 nose pieces left to cast and will then have ALL of the resin completed! I will be having my surgery this Friday and will be finishing up the small stuff afterwards. I will be shipping the end of Feb. as I have a few small things to finish up after the surgery and am not sure how I will be feeling.

Thanks for the well wishes on the hand surgery, it went well but I did not like being awake for it (was supposed to be knocked out), the healing has been slow due to the diabetes and pulling the stitches loose before it healed but I am now more or less pain free and can pretty much do what I want. I am finishing up the instructions and patterns for the paint masks, the decals are under going their final tweaking and unless the sky falls on me, I plan to have the first 20 kits in the mail the end of next week. My plan is to ship 20 kits per week over 3 weeks to spread out the costs of the decals and shipping.

I'm glad to hear you're close to being yourself again - can't imagine what it was like to be awake during the surgery!

Congrats Ralph. My USPS informed Delivery shows that I have a package coming from Indianapolis and it was supposed to be delivered today. However, as always for me, the package appears to be in Limbo. Tracking shows it as LATE and no activity after Indiana. Dang it!!!!!!
EDIT 3/10/20 After days of no progress on the tracking and many worries, I finally received my 65 Foyt Lotus kit. Truly a great kit, all parts are nicely mastered and cast. Thank you Lance for making this kit possible, your talent is truly recognized and appreciated.
