It's 1/16 scale- an old Hudson Miniatures kit, (I buy to build). You could call it multi-media. It consists of balsa wood, bristol board, steel wire, pipe cleaners and a handful of plastic parts. The instruction sheet is basically a to-scale blue print.

They're good starting points. I'm not quite a scratch builder yet, so they give me something to work with. This was a touring car that I decided to make as a two-seater. It's also possible to build one in plastic or metal using the blueprints from the kit. I've just started working on a 1911 E-M-F racer that ran in Savannah.

it looks like it could be craig's first car... duane Wow you are right! I think I remember him talking about that. He's always been open to keeping up with the times, so it doesn't surprise me he embraced horseless carriages back then.... But seriously, nice looking build!

I believe Oscar Koveleski's dad was the guy behind Hudson Miniatures. I guess you could say that apple (Oscar and his Auto World) didn't fall too far from that tree.spyder

There are a few open wheel racers in their catalog- including the Vanderbilt-Cup winning Locomobile "Old #16."
