Hi Guys I need a bit of help on the crazy Mernard's colors on the last Eagle driven by Robbie Gordon. If any one knows all 4 of the main colors or really any of them I would be thankful. The Yellow seems to have a slightly green tint. The Blue may be a metalic. Then the 2 Oranges. The photos of this car do not do it justice. Thanks. Ralph

Yo Ralph! I painted the Greg Ray Menard’s car with Rustoleum Flo Yellow, Rustoleum Flo Orange, and maybe Tamiya Flo red(IIRC)...the paint seemed to match the nose to tale stripe decals...hope this helps!...  5663AF09-A04A-4198-B028-7CF0008B2EE1 by Tim Jones, on Flickr |

You have: - metallic blue - neon yellow - neon orange - neon red   I think the blue probably look darker in pictures to get the neon colors to look right in photos but others probably know better. Jordan |

MJ You are right, those are Reynards but the basic colors for RG in 1999 were the same on the Reynard, Swift, and Eagle even when the layout changed. Here are some Eagle pictures with lighter balance   And some with darker color balance   Hard to believe this was 20 years ago now. Jordan |

Looking at this one again, I think this one might be a Swift and not a Reynard. Ralph, are you building Kevin's 1/25 resin piece? If you need paint codes, a guy who worked for Robby in 1999 is on F1M who might know or know someone who knows paint codes, if this is not good enough. Jordan |

Hi guys
Thank you all for the information on the paint and all the photos.
These cars can be confusing.
I am working on Kevin's Eagle. With Robbie Gordon's Renard after that. I didn't even think about a Swift being in the mix.
With that being said does anyone have a swift they might be willing to part with, or if some one can tell me where I can find some drawings.
No mater what thank you all for all the information and all the photos.

Hi guys
I would like to try another track on this project.
Does anyone have over head and or side view photos of the 98/99 Swift and Renard Indy cars.
I'm trying to see how close they are in size and shape to see if I can make a Swift from a Renard.
