Looks awesome! Looks like you got a good match on the yellow! I like the Kraco Schemes....we don't see very many built. Adding the Michael figure is a nice touch, I love driver figures and I hope to add them to my line of resin offerings, someday...

Nothing wrong with this one, you did a good job on it. Glad you were able to conquer this one and get it finished.

Hey thanks guys. The yellow was from a Testors rattle can, 1214 gloss yellow-not a super match, but close enough to look good. And the blue was from a very old Testors bottle that took forever to mix and thin out - 1110 Blue. I have a few detail touches still to do, a bit more color on the mirrors and the silver for the mirror itself...
The driver I did a wash with smoke over the firesuit, and it got kind of messy, but in the car it looks good because the shadows on a scale aren't the same as a real 1:1 car....Also I spun the tires on my dremel and turned out pretty cool looking on the tread. Wheels got a little smoke wash over the original kit chrome, and that's about it. Now I can clear my workbench for winter as I usually don't model in the summer as I am too busy with outside activities and of course, work....I like this site, lots of good builds and cool topics here.
Geez, I just noticed something that nobody pointed out. Looks like the guy who sweeps the shop installed the rear wing last night, it is on BACKWARDS! Michael is gonna be ticked when he enters turn 1 the first time if I don't get it corrected....

The board dosnt tend to point out flaws. No one is perfect and the fear of discouraging newbies. ( or anybody for that matter) Lastly, its not a hard fix. I caught it but didnt dare say anything as i dont want to come across as being harsh. I would NEVER EVER discount some one else's efforts. I am far from perfect. ( and kind'a getting back into modeling) so who am i to disparage some one elses efforts? I just think its wrong. You have a nice model. Personally, i love that the rear cowling comes off. Engine work is always cool. As mentioned the driver is always a nice addition. Thanks for posting it and we look forward to seeing more!
