Hi everyone,
I'm Ben and I live in North Carolina. I've been interested in Indy cars since I lived in Indy for a couple of years back in the early '70s. Unfortunately, my most vivid memory from the track was seeing Art Pollard hit the wall.
I've been a modeler for about 30 years, mainly building 1/48 Cold War-era airplanes and 1/144 airliners. Building the airliners finally gave me the confidence to tackle the gloss finishes applied to cars. I've got a couple of Revell Reynards under my belt, and another in progress. This one will be a Visteon car using Indycals decals.
My other car-related hobbies are keeping a 1959 MGA and a 1980 MGB on the road, and attending vintage races at the Virginia International Raceway.
Cheers!
Ben

Welcome, can't wait to see the Visteon build - I have those to build some day, too!

Welcome, fellow British car lover.
My "other" hobby is my 63 Austin Healey 3000 and 72 El Dorado Convert. Hard to find time to do it all.

Thanks! It's kinda hard to keep the British cars running and build models, too. There are only 24 hours in a day! :-)

Welocome Ben. I was also there in 73 when Art hit the wall. This is a great place, full of fun and wonderful talent.

Welcome to the new guy!
Damn I love/hate BMC products! I had a MG 1100 Sports Sedan and 2 "real" Morris Minis. They were such a pain but such a pleasure to drive.

HI Ben,
Welcome! It is nice to have another member from NC. AFAIK, there are only three of us!
I had an extensive history with full size British sports car, my favorite driver was a TR-3, but I liked my big Healey and my MGB. All those were years ago, my last one was a TR-4 back in about '85.

Welcome Ben,
Enjoy building the Reynards. Looking forward to seeing some pics. If any questions Jordan I would say is the resident expert on these..I have alot of knowledge of them also.
