Here are some beauty shots of this project.











Shows the very poor fit of the Body Panels. Why I will only display this with everything open. The only fix is to glue them together before assembly. Good luck with that plan, BTW.....









The little "flap" sticking up on the nose was a Bug deflector. Very common to see back then. You have to look for it though.



This is where the spare tire was carried. By rules at Le Mans at this time, you had to carry one. I am leaving it out as it hides so much detail. So it will sit to the side when on display.



I will also leave this off. It is a splash guard and catch pan. It kept the fuel from covering the rear glass and the catch pan caught the fuel and put it back into the fuel system. Failure of the hose attached to this is what caused sister car 12 to catch fire and burn while leading the race in 1964. It covers those nicely detailed Weber Cars and fuel system details...



What the competition saw....until the gearboxes broke.....
