I got this figure simply because I liked how it looked. I do not recall the figures creator / molding company. It was titled, "Achiles", but I think it looks more like a spartan commander (but what do I know). Its painted with a combination of enamels and acrylics. The figure is straight from the box except where I replaced the distorted resin spear shaft with brass rod. While it only contains 16 pieces, the challenge was to bring out the various details so it appears to be more than that. Thanks for looking and your comments are greatly encouraged. v/r, Ben

I would have guessed more than 16 peices. Good call on the spear. If it was real, the weight of the head gear would wear out a soldier. It looks heavy and cumbersome. But what do i know about Roman times.
