Will try to build Hunt's early version, which involves lengthening the nose, re configuring the back of the cockpit and building an appropriate air box.

So am I. At this point I'm studying as may photos as possible and realize that, at different points in time, the suspension changes or evolves.

I have Kevin's Hunt version of this car, and it's one I am excited to do at some point soon, so I'll be watching to see what you do here. I'm planning to scratch-build the suspension, so looking forward to see how you handle it. I could use some ideas! I have a bunch of pictures I took last Fall at the Speedway museum when the restored car was there for the Unser exhibit. You can see them all here: public.fotki.com/alaski48/future-subjects-and/gurney-eagle-f5000/

Does Kevin’s transkit come with a windscreen? Art, you mentioned doing the Hunt version. Does Kevin do more than one version?

Does Kevin’s transkit come with a windscreen? Art, you mentioned doing the Hunt version. Does Kevin do more than one version? Paul Erlendson HI Paul, Yes, Kevin offered two versions. The Hunt version came with an alternate nose and the correct intake scoop. The Hunt car didn't have a wind screen, just a little lip. My kit doesn't have a screen, but I'm not sure if this is why or not. -Art
