Can anyone tell me what year/make car this is? I believe it is a Reynard and was wondering if the Papis Miller Lite car is the same car. I already have the ML kit and the Harley decals, just wanna make sure it's doable.

I already have the ML kit and the Harley decals, just wanna make sure it's doable. This is a Reynard. The RM Miller Lite kit has the correct body style to do the 2000 Harley Miller car. Not sure about the wheels. Jordan will know for sure. I think the body color should be a dark (royal?) blue. In this picture, body appears to be black, but that could just be lighting. The Speedline decal sheet has both speedway and road coarse markings, so you should be able to do either version. I believe that the placement of the Miller Lite decals on the top of the side pods is a bit off on the pictured car. They appear to be too far forward. Speedline decal placement sheet puts these markings a little farther back. RussD

That's the 1999 Harley Miller Lite scheme of Max Papis. That year Rahal Racing ran the 1999 Reynard/Ford/Firestone package so the Miller Lite kit will work perfectly ;D The body color is a really beautiful dark, dark blue. Max used a Harley themed helmet and uniform during this time so reusing the kit uniform decals isn't really accurate. The kit comes with chromed BBS wheels of the ML kit which look great and will probably make a nicer looking model .... but the Rahal team ran painted wheels so Max really ran a somewhat more dull silver painted wheel instead of chrome. You can see what I am talking about with the wheels by clicking HEREI'm a little light on references right now but I think this scheme ran at all these places: MilwaukeePortlandClevelandElkhart Lake / Road AmericaToronto ?MichiganI don't have a set of the Speedline decals in front of me but they are a competent set of decals. The silver flames and wings should be chrome which would have just made the decals just insanely awesome. I thought about cutting the flames out of BMF but that still would leave the Harley wing as silver so it is probably best to just build it as is - no model is perfect after all. ;D Finally, this is one of the early Speedline decals which means it wasn't printed by Cartograf and all the non-Carto printed Speedlines I own have the same problem - all the white printing is yellowing. So, you'll want to do that bleach them in the window trick probably. Let us know if you have anymore questions ;D Jordan
