Hey guys,
I'm throwing this out there as I am contracting a large print run of various parts and want to ensure that I have necessary inventory for anything that anyone may be interested in. If anyone would like to order anything, please PM me. Postage would be at cost.
These are not printed with Shapeways materials, rather a material similar to resin that sands easier with less 'stepping'/print lines visible.
Below are the items that I have available on offer and price per set:
Scale Year Car Item Price 18 2012-19 DW12 Front Hub Wheelnuts (Set of 2) $3 18 2012-14 DW12 SW Bumper $20 18 2012-14 DW12 RC Front Wing $20 18 2015 DW12 Chevy RC Set (Front Wing & RWEP included, no RW) $30 18 2016-17 DW12 Chevy RC Set (Front Wing & RWEP included, no RW) $30 18 2012-19 DW12 Road Course Brake Ducts $15 18 2015 DW12 Chevy SW Bumper 'Pods' (Mount to GL bumper) $7 18 2016-17 DW12 Chevy SW 'Pods' (Mount to GL bumper) $7 18 2019 UAK18 Advanced Frontal Protection (AFP) Device $4
If anyone has any questions or would like photos of what is provided in any kits, please let me know.
Chris

Are these being printed on the Photon?

Are these being printed on the Photon? As my goal is to provide a modeler friendly piece that interacts with the existing Greenlight diecast as seamlessly as possible. As such, I handle design, verifying of the prototype print and prep/paint compatibility, however, how the models are printed is not something that I am involved with.

Need some AFP's for sure.Atleast 2.Pagenaud & Daly.
Not wanting to be a pain, but a few parts( GL bumper pods) for one, i am unclear exactly what is meant. Some pics would really help. Those early D-12 correct speedway bumpers are also desirable, as i have some cars that could use that upgrade. Thank you for doing this.

I know Photon users are printing in resin. Some of the results have been incredible. That said I also see all the crap they go through (fumes, misprints, etc), which is why despite it's price I'm not even going to consider it.

As callous as it sounds, those are reasons why I rather give someone else my $ and let them figure out how to print it. Below are pics of the different items. Note that the material will look different than the photos. 18 2012-19 DW12 Front Hub Wheelnuts (Set of 2) $3 18 2012-14 DW12 SW Bumper $20 18 2012-14 DW12 RC Front Wing $20 18 2015 DW12 Chevy RC Set (Front Wing & RWEP included, no RW) $30 18 2016-17 DW12 Chevy RC Set (Front Wing & RWEP included, no RW) $30 (Same as above, but "shark fin" front wing and 2016/17 rear bumper) 18 2012-19 DW12 Road Course Brake Ducts $15 (Includes front & rear) 18 2015 DW12 Chevy SW Bumper 'Pods' (Mount to GL bumper) $7 18 2016-17 DW12 Chevy SW 'Wing' (Mount to GL bumper) $7 18 2019 UAK18 Advanced Frontal Protection (AFP) Device $4

How come no R/C rear wings whatsoever? Much less the 2018-19 R/C front & rear wings?

How come no R/C rear wings whatsoever? Much less the 2018-19 R/C front & rear wings? Because I design and print things for myself, and decide to share them. If the items that I'm offering don't fit what you can build on your own, don't buy it. With Shapeways pricing structure, it didn't make sense to pay $50 (that was before their pricing went wacky) for a 3d printed rear wing that would likely warp due to their materials, when you could buy an extra DW12 diecast and cut the endplates off of it.

I see! Just trying to get some ideas for future custom orders myself considering I have no knowledge in the world of 3d printing nor customizing diecast model cars. No problem. That's all I needed to know
