I finally have gotten around to working on the 1/25 1983 March 83c resin kit re-issue. But this time around this kit will be a full complete kit. Last time I had this kit available it was a Trans-kit that required a donor. I'm currently test fitting a new cockpit and trans-axle.

Its probably a long answer. And maybe for another thread. But looking at the pic I am curious to know how you get started on something like this kit to be. What are you using to create the master? Presume you go so far in one material and then work in detail on a resin casting from that?
Watched the vid to see the castings being done. All very interesting.
And no, I am not thinking of doing stuff myself. Just curious and wishing to understand the process and further appreciate the skill involved. Spent years building kits and never giving a second thought to how they were put together.
Buying a plastic kit from the big guns I just never cared. But buying from specialised independent producers of late got me wondering.....
