Great masking work on this one. I didn't even realize he had crashed but I just got back to my PC - wow, don't knock all four corners off of this one!

This seems to be all the rage in open wheel racing. Maybe they thought "if it's good enough for F1, we will do it at Indy". The official tow truck of the Indy 500

Maybe its me, but McLaren seems to be mailing it in so far. The tow.truck isnt on them, but a myriad of problems sure seem to be. Seemed unorganized after the wall contact. Perhaps they under estimated this, but you would hate to think that. Car looks great! See what happens. They need some track time and speed.

Can someone explain to me why his backup car wasn’t fully assembled?

Perhaps I was too subtle in my post. Several weeks ago at the Baku F1 race, P1 was canceled because a tow truck, which had picked up a crashed Williams, hit a bridge with it's hoist boom. What are the chances it would happen again? P. Tracy took this photo. Sorry to hijack your build thread. This seems to be all the rage in open wheel racing. Maybe they thought "if it's good enough for F1, we will do it at Indy". The official tow truck of the Indy 500
