I had to build this because I own a Cruze. What a fantastic kit for detail, yet what a lousy, lousy set of decals the kit ones are. I ordered the aftermarket set but still had to use a lot of the original ones. They were a nightmare. Brittle and cracking all over the place.  |

Wanna know how bad the kit decals are? Every one of the decals on the wheels broke into a minimum of two, if not three pieces. My eyeballs hurt by the time I got those things looking proper on the wheels. And I had even clearcoated them before applying them in the hopes of alieviating the brittleness.  |

I forgot to mention it earlier. They put enough plastic behind the door handles that I was able to dremel them out and actually make them recessed. This is a final shot. Kinda fitting as its the back of the car.  |

I never thought much of the Cruze before I saw the racecar then I started to like the street car LOL
You did a really good job on this one, I like it! This is WTCC and not BTCC, right?

Yes, its WTCC. I still like looking at the front end of my Cruze. imo, its one of the sharper looking front ends of any car. I actually just finished waxing my baby yesterday evening. Gotta say, the older I get the harder it is to do. As for the model, its a shame the interior is so hard to see. Aoshima did an incredible job with the fine parts in there. All in all, except for decals, its a highly recommendable kit.
