This is a toy conversion again of a Lucky Toys #3139 a McLaren M19A using parts from a deep spares box and a appreciation of the Coke bottle shape.

This my first version built in the early 90's...

this my second version built a few years back...

this is a photo of all 3 M19s I have built...

the spares box master, his self...

Well, it came out ok...In my elderly age there are many asymmetries in the alignments. I'm still having fun!

From a blob of a toy refined into a scale replica that one could not tell from a proper kit, that is the magic of Patrick. I really like this one because even though I am a sucker for Penske cars, there is just something about McLaren's in papaya orange that just looks right. The springs and plumbing really are great touches.
