Beautiful job! You nailed the paint, what color is the darker red? Any Rahal car is fine by me

Beautiful job! You nailed the paint, what color is the darker red? Any Rahal car is fine by me John Thanks John. The colors actually look much different in person. The red in the middle is Tamiya's bright red, and it looks kind of pinkish in the photos. The dark color on the end is this Krylon color I found in my local hardware store as a closeout for $1.75. It's called Espresso. Looks like a perfect match compared to photos. I'll try and take a picture outside, if the sun ever comes out around here!

Really sharp build. Really cool early Bobby build and I am so used to #19s being Coyne cars that it is strange to see this in a way. Very nice work and we all make mistakes, I would not have noticed the wings being off without you mentioning. Do not sweat it but thanks for pointing it out for the future builders.

Man Craig...you did great on this one. The detail on the dash is awesome. What did you use to make the gauge bezels? Also...did the windscreen come tinted like that? It looks real good...

Thanks Gary. The gauges are just decals from Virages Decals. I use them a lot. The windscreen comes clear. I masked off the front and sprayed Tamiya smoke on the inside, about six coats.

Thanks for that info Craig. I'm building the Tim Richmond 1980 PC7 and it has that smoke tint on it also. This is a big help. Did you use the can or Airbrush? Also...Do you have a link for Virages Decals? Thanks...
I just found the Gauge decals at Spot model.

Simply awesome!!!! I will be doing the same livery for my 64th slot cars. Just have to refine the resin body of the 82C.

Beautiful! Wish it was available in 1/43... It will be eventually.... I've had this model in the works forever, but at the moment I'm a bit stuck on photo etch. If anybody knows somebody who can do the artwork and etching, I'd surely like to know! My late friend Colin Fraser was going to help me out on this, but sadly that was not to be. If I can't solve the etch-issue soon I will probably re-engineer the kit to be built with just resin and white metal parts. Bo

I read somewhere a while ago, he was considering doing more custom/one-off work. Maybe you could outsource your p/e work to him? Good luck! Patrick
