Someone may have covered this already.
Long story short. Visited Toronto. Went looking for the Greenlight Wickens model. Met Dereck at Toronto Motorsports. Really nice chap. Very helpful but Sold out. Went to Minigrid. Got a few slot cars. Went home to the UK and got very lucky with finding one on a Dutch website.
It Came! The big one!
But I look at it and do actually want to drop a driver fig in it.
Anyone know of anywhere they do 1.18th driver figs, with the fig in a driving position?

I believe Shapeways 3d printing has a one made by, titled Driver F1 1/18 for only $12.00... www.shapeways.com . It may take some minor sanding and shaping then decals, but it would most likely be the cheapest. TMC also makes some (I believe of F1 drivers) for around $68-75.00 Also there may be something out there on an old listing for a Quartzo 1/18 die cast that would include a racer driving the car (Emerson Fittapaldi or Damon Hill I believe). Buy the car and use the parts for spares then use the driver in your car. While surfing Evil Bay (smile) I also saw some Ertl and Greenlight 1/18 die-cast with driver figures, perhaps one of them would work? There may be someone here skilled to make one for you ( )... Anyone else have any ideas? Ben

Anyone know of anywhere they do 1.18th driver figs, with the fig in a driving position? If you're trying to install a driver figure into the DW12 Indycars, the old 2004-2011 Greenlight Indycar driver figures fit without problem. The only catch is that you can see the fact that the driver figure has no feet.
