Sharp looking conversion. Is the Team Penske decal on the gearbox stock or did you add it? Hard to tell it was a JPM car. So do you show the JNeu winners together? Must be a sharp trio. Would love to see him pull out the improbable this weekend but if not, still glad he’s on the team for the future.

Thanks! The Penske detail was actually stock, I think the Captain likes to spend a little more for reproductions of his team's cars because they seem to have a number of details that other teams don't usually get (Chrome suspension, extra decals, etc.). For the time being, I keep them in the boxes that come from Greenlight but I've thought about getting them all out to take some pictures of the full series, as I also have the standard Verizon car for that year as well. Since they didn't really start producing Newgarden Diecasts until late in his time with Carpenter, I've been building replicas of his other cars for the past few years and buying the newer ones as they are produced. I've got a nice collection of about 12-14 cars of his now. Hopefully one day I'll have a house with a dedicated man cave to display the 150+ cars I've collected over the years of various drivers.
As far as this weekend, It'll be a longshot for him to pull it off but I think I'll be happy however it turns out. The racing has been great this year and surprisingly balanced between the big 3 teams. Sunday will be fun to watch!
