I’ve started Kevin’s very welcome kit of the 1977 racer. I’ll be finishing this as Mario’s car. As I mentioned in a previous thread Kevin was very prompt and gracious in replacing some parts that were mixed up and I now have a complete parts inventory. I attached the radiator boxes and filled the seam to make a smooth top surface. The plan is to connect the turbine inlet to the center of the exhaust crossover. This involves reorienting the turbo assembly so the exhaust had to be removed for later reattachment. This places the turbine over the transmission centerline and therefore the compressor offset to the left. And the finished power unit. Notice the pipe from compressor to plenum was relocated to the left side of the plenum. I decided to use some extra parts Kevin thoughtfully included to rig up a low level mount for the anti-roll bar similar to the arrangement in late M16s. As usual for me I like sturdy wheel/axle connections. I slightly reamed the disc brake and inserted a metal pin and drilled the wheel accordingly. I ended up making an exhaust pipe that is a bit larger than the kit. The wheels fit easily into the tires with a minimum of cleanup and are a snug fit, no looseness. At the front, I reamed the brake and inserted a piece of tubing in which I then insert the pin on the upright. Again, I drill the wheel accordingly. More to follow. . .

Excellent start. I'll be following along and taking notes, and I need all the help I can get when I finally start my 1st limited run Multi media kit.
