Pagenaud Lucas Oil 2014 Indy 500

Here is a quick, easy build I knocked out just to do something simple before tackling some bigger, more involved projects before the weather starts turning colder over the next few months. Here is Simon Pagenaud's 2014 Indy 500 car. The original donor was a 2014 Indy 500 event car. Similar to the Dixon, Kanaan, and Castroneves cars I made from this race, I kept the Event Car package to display them in so they each have a nice little case on the shelf. This was a SUUUUUUUUUPER easy build. Solid white with just a few sponsors. Nothing fancy but a nice little piece to add to the collection.

That sure looks good jaw. I like the mat basket weave the car is sitting on.....very cool!

Thanks! And it’s actually just a table cloth I use to dress up my painting table in the backyard haha

Great paint job! You should get one of the old 2003-2011 Greenlight driver figures for a mini-Simon. The car really adds some extra "pop" with the yellow helmet! (Plus I know someone who can supply the helmet decals )

Funny you say that, I was hoping to eventually do that so I didn’t glue down the headrest. I’ve got a number of driver figures laying around if you can get me the hook up with some decals 😉
