Hello!
I'm a returning member, in that was once a member here (or was it the Indy Car Modeling forum?) many years ago, but got lost in other modeling projects and life in general. While my racing interests mostly run to sportscar racing on road courses, I love any kind of Indy car, especially those from the 80s & 90s.
I normally build 1/48 jets and 1/144 airliners, but I did build a couple of Revell Reynards for Modeling Madness about 10 years ago. After watching the Indy 500 this year, I've once again been bitten by the race car bug. The Indycals site has probably seen a spike in traffic as I went through it, looking for subjects. I already have Mike's decals for the '89 Granatelli Lola and I've recently ordered another set for Sneva's '86 Skoal Bandit. I'm planning to build both in parallel, taking a break from airplanes for a while. I build at a glacial pace, but I'll try to post some pics of my progress.
