Hi friends, It's 2 resin shells made for a few french modellers 5 or 6 years ago. They were in their package until last week. Of course they are 1/32 scale slot cars. Exhauts, shell, windscreen and driver were included wih the kit. I've bought separately the wheels, tyres and inserts in England. I've choosed the chassis and as usual try another way (brass chassis are easy to use). Another solution is also possible and proposed below. To be continued.... Jean

Thanks For the front wheels, I've choosen to fix a tube on the shell so the axle will be free. The motor is an old timer.... an old Scalextric Powersledge motor. Very smooth and a lot of souvenirs for me. The mount on the shell is by clipping two little tubes. A complete wheel/tyre finish. The paint has begun. The front bumper and the front grid. A photo to look how the motor sledge works. To be continued... Jean

Now the decals to represent the Novi #18 Purelube driven by Duke Nalon and #32 Novi Purelube driven by Chet Miller. Decals were bought with the kit. A little difficult to apply because they are too hard so I've used Micro Sol. Micro Sol is a decal siolution that softens or 'melts' a decal so that it snuggles down over raised detail on a model; making it look painted on. I only use if when I have to apply a decal over alot of raised detail, or complex curves. Once it is applied to the decal, EXTREME CARE must be used when moving it, or you'll tear it. Chet Miller : And Duke Nalon :

Looks great and with the background I had to do a double-take to make sure it was not a real car in a period photo.
