Looks like from the odds makers there are a number of drivers in the mix for victory in Sunday’s 500. We all have our favorite drivers that we want to win. But, how about a little different pole here. Which are your top 3 best looking paint schemes? Which 3 would you like to replicate with Calvin’s upcoming kit? My three favorites all come from row 3. Danica Patrick, Helio Castroneves and Scott Dixon.

After checking these out, I have decided that Potaro is pulling for Penske...easy peasy...if Sage Karen or Dixon wins, Michael may sh*t a brick... On another topic, the front wicker, (after days of seeing the cars up close on TV,), looks to me like a photo etch piece is the best solution...if unpainted, it would reflect the colors on the nose...it also appears to be VERY thin...thoughts? Tim PS: Somebody please take some pictures today of the Memorabilia show, with guys, new releases, tables, etc.Thx!

This will be my 28th race. I have 3 preferences for who I would like to see win when it comes to modeling. #1. Fluorescent paint is ok but not for the logos because it may take years if not ever for someone to do the decals in fluorescent colors. #2. Black wheeled cars vs chrome wheeled cars. Although I can used Alclad, it’s just easier. #3. A car that isn’t “chrome colored” like the SPM cars. Although I don’t care much for Marco because of what could have been with his career, I like his chances. He has been quietly quick and has Herta calling the shot for him this year. Don’t care if Helio wins his fourth cause he won his first 2 in the IRL with Penske/M@r1b0r0 money and equipment at a time when any body could have won with that. Like an all star team playing the Cubs when they weren’t any good. I also always like to see first time winners. Enjoy the race everyone. I’ll be on the infield as they come out of 4 near the Sunoco sign.
Thanks, Mike

I like the Chilton #59 and the Kimball #23. The colors seem to flow along the body from front to back. They’re both reminiscent of an early 60s roadster with the tapering stripes. I also like the Air Force car with the Thunderbirds theme.

My favorite color scheme didn't make the race. I thought Pippa's car was really sharp. I know it's not for everybody, but I really liked the colors.

Helio would have been good, but until other scales *cough*Calvin*cough* emerge, Power is worthless to me. But he drove a helluva race and is a worthy champion.
