Great work on all three! Where did you get the Torino decals?

Thanks, all.
Sandy, I want to say that was a PowerSlide decal, but I can't remember for sure. It's been a while! I don't build a lot of NASCAR stuff, but when I do my general rule is it has to be an Indy regular driver, or at least someone who has also driven at Indy. Looking at the shelf now I see a couple Foyt cars, some John Andretti, a Tom Sneva, a Tim Richmond and even a Bobby Allison. That last one may be the biggest stretch of the bunch, but he did drive at Indy!

Great build! I can appreciate the feeling of finally getting one done. Just now starting on the Hurtubise Novi.

The Smokey Yunick Torino decals were a "Yesterday's" sheet made years ago by BSR in Georgia. It included decals to do the all black or the black and gold car. Great sheet. I wish someone would do them again. There are some other decals around but they only provide markings for the black and gold car. All three builds are awesone BTW. Particularly love those Novi's, it is part of what Indy once was when it was very exciting each month of May

Excellent model of one of the most aggressive looking (and sounding)race cars ever built.

Ah, Bill and Jordan for the win. It was indeed a Yesterday's sheet. Thanks for jogging the memory.

I think it's a great model, and any of the imperfections you pointed out would have been easily overlooked by all the good! All three are really nice!

Thanks for the info guys, I'll have to keep an eye out for that sheet the next model show vendor room I'm in. All three of your cars are very, very nice with that all black Torino really sharp.

Scott, great job, all those little details really shine. I noticed the fine job you did on the header supports. Do tell, how did you make them.

Scott, great job, all those little details really shine. I noticed the fine job you did on the header supports. Do tell, how did you make them. John I wish I could remember where I got these, but I think they were staples of some sort in a big box. I remember pulling them off and noting they were pliable, and an interesting size and thought "I can use these for something." I know, modeler's disease! They ended up being perfect for this application. I just cut them, bent them into a square and slid them over the header, then it was just a matter of adding a short piece of brass rod.

Thanks Scott, that was no help at all. LOL! Just kidding. Hoping to see you and the family at Indy.
