1985 Lola T-900 Wysard Racing 4th place Long Beach

Recently I got a message here on the board from a gentleman by the name of jeff34. Turns out he is Jeff Wysard, the son of 80's Indy Car team owners Rose and Herb Wysard. He had seen my model of the teams' car from the 1985 Indy 500 on the forum and wondered if I would be willing to sell it. After a bit of correspondence it turned out that what he really wanted was a model of the car as it ran at Long Beach that year, as the 4th place earned by Jim Crawford was the teams' best result ever. A bit of magic from Jan in Holland (zippernl) on the decals and some allnighters resulted in a model that Jeff could present to his dad for his birthday on the eve of this years' Long Beach race. Here are some shots of the result - the model is 1/43rd scale:

Just a great build for such a special reason. I didn't even realize it was 1/43 scale until I read it. That's how good the model looks.
