Man...What a GREAT collection. A person don't really realize how many different cars and classes that Dan Gurney drove in until one sees them side by side like in this AWESOME display...thank you very much for posting...

When I started building and collecting Dan's models in 2004 I never realized how many different cars he drove either. I built a couple of the obvious ones and then started doing research on other cars and looking for photos and I was blown away. I even compiled a database of all his amateur and pro races dating back to 1955 so I could make the models as accurate as possible. Dan certainly could race and win in anything. I eventually got to be friends with Dan, his wife Evi and super assistant Kathy Weida. I had my last visit to AAR in early November and am glad to have spent some time with them, Alex, Justin and others. Dan was as fine a person as he was a master racer. I guess the collection is my tribute to him...

Well Tee...you have certainly done Dan Gurney--the RACER...The MAN.. an AWESOME tribute. The World got to see his racing career.... But...you got to be friends with a LEGEND and his family. That is very awesome Tee.
