Hi and thanks everyone for the kind thoughts. In a nutshell, a washing machine and I took a tumble down a flight of stairs. I have a concussion and neck injuries and a lot of sore parts. All things considered I was blessed it wasn't much, much worst. The real kicker is the washer was broke anyway and once we got it down was headed straight for the dump.

Sandy, I could say that it sounds like you’ve really been through the wringer, but I won’t because it might hurt too much to be laughing at the moment. 😊 But, maybe later when you feel better. Hope you heal fast and are back on top of your game soon.

Seems like your career as an appliance mover did not work out any better than your carpenter deal where you cut your thumb off. Looks like being a Firefighter was the safest thing you have done. Get better, my friend, I hope to see you next month. Craig

Thx again guys. Craig, it was just half a thumb, don't cut me short here. So now I'm banned from using power tools AND moving anything larger than a toaster here. Yeah, firefighting was safe compared to domestic stuff.

"So now I'm banned from using power tools AND moving anything larger than a toaster here. " ... like that wasn't your plan all along

So glad to hear you're healing with nothing worse done that what was said.
Perhaps this may give you more time to just sit back, relax, and work on more open wheel hobbies (?).
Wishing you fast and painless healing....
