that didn't quite go as originally planned. The initial idea was to build the supports to display the top directly over its sitting position on the car. Well..... i got a lesson with it. One i forgot from younger days. Round stock isnt as easy as square & when you build " horses" ( lack of another term) ... You should keep the car around so your leg gap is good. I did not. It can be used with both winners 74 & 76, it cannot be displayed as intended. I am assembling a small list of decals to complete a few cars. Some McLaren & Goodyear decals and a few other odds and ends for GWS to take care of. It is going to work. Next time i will make sure it works as originally intended.

The Tamiya Ts-56 originally gotten to fix Fred's blue rabbit ears. After this side project, i need to either let it go, or perhaps buy another car, strip it down and repaint & redecal as it does not match that GL paint. The Alonso GL paint is thin. Some noted it in YouTube reviews. The can matches the factory Carousel 1 paint well enough. You can see its not so close to the factory GL car. The second pic you can easily see the engine cowling dosnt match on Fernando. It was painted seperately it looks as the factory screw had a stripped out head, so i did not paint the trans. Redoing this car is not on my list. I wish to do a figure, perhaps a better support display.

Nice idea on how to display the body-off! Kind of gives it an interesting spaceship-look, or maybe a Transformer-look when its displayed over the car!

I sort'a stole some of the idea from a talented modeler ( mods , i recruited him for the board but i wiffed) from Italy i think. Did a 1989 G.Berger Ferrari that was very, very nice. The video is on youtube. Anyway, i will do something again similar, but make it work as intended.
