You can’t be an auto racing fan without an appreciation for Dan Gurney...so many different interests, in so many different series...innovations, ideas, and excellence were his by-words...this is an old build,and my first use of Indycals, seems like a lifetime ago...

I remember thinking “ Where has this Potaro guy been all my life?” The decals were correct, and fit! Really launched me back into modeling, especially Indy cars...

I know the windscreen is too thick, but there weren’t any thin ones available back then...


The Lotus powered by Ford is one of the earliest decent Indy kits (except for tires), and it seems all of us have built one...Godspeed Mr. Gurney! Men like you are few and far between...
