For those of you that own an IPod, here is a link so you can listen to podcasts of past races (2005-present). There are also links available for weekly IRL shows. You'll have to search a bit, but the "archive" section is halfway down the page on the right side of the page. Just click on the year and find the race you want to hear. www.indycar.com/multimedia/radio/This link will take you to the Indianapolis ESPN radio station (formerly WIBC 1070) and you can podcast or stream Donald Davidson's Talk Of Gasoline Alley show and/or Trackside with Curt Cavin and Kevin Lee. www.indy500coverage.com/There's enough to listen to so you can get your fill throughout the season. Disclaimer: If you subscribe to the podcasts, they are all free, but they will take up a good chunk of space on your IPod, especially if you download a full Indy 500. My IPod is an 80 gb model so I have plenty of space. My nano, not so much.

Got a 120gig iPod Classic video for Christmas this year - I have the 5 Indy500s on video and just signed up for a bunch of Indy podcasts but I might have to look into these.... are these the ones available on iTunes or no?

Got a 120gig iPod Classic video for Christmas this year - I have the 5 Indy500s on video and just signed up for a bunch of Indy podcasts but I might have to look into these.... are these the ones available on iTunes or no? Jordan If I could talk my daughter into taking my IPod, I'd spring for a 120gb classic. I could literally put my entire music library on it. Did you get the silver one? I like the way it looks, but since I keep mine in a leather/magnetic case, nobody sees the color anyway. In any case, yeah, you can go on ITunes and get the podcasts, but if you want to hear the races from 2005 to now, then go to the ITunes store and search "IMS Radio Network" and click on the subscribe logo. Then go to your ITunes and on the left side where you have the music, movies and click on podcasts, then all you have to do is select the races you want to download. I listened to the 2005 race tonight, skipping over some parts, and it was like I was at the race all over again. The other races from the IRL seasons are also available so you can go back and listen those as well. I also got all the Indy 500 videos available through ITunes. It seems like I got them over 1-1/2 years ago and I can't understand why more 500s aren't offered. Here's an interesting thought for you; The IPod will play videos that are in mp4 format. If you can somehow transfer your race library into that format, you can download them into the IPod. Isn't technology great? NOTE: I edited the info in this post and put the updated info in blue font.
