1992 is an interesting study <large ramble on nuances of race omitted> of how the fastest race cars don't always win the 500. That said, the last several 500s have been won by the fastest car and if Helio has the best car in the race then I like his chances! Jordan Not sure if you listen to the podcast of that Kevin and Cavin radio show, but they broke the field into 3 categories: The contenders, 2nd level and everyone else. Their Contenders were: Helio, Briscoe, Dario, Dixon, Kanaan Next Level: Wheldon and maybe Marco Everyone else; no explanation needed I have to agree that if nothing strange happens (like in 1992 with the cold and all the crashes), then it should be "#3 for #3" I get to quote myself here because I think I heard Helio say it was #3 for #3. |
