That is a beautiful Eagle. I love the fit, finish, and details. The base is a nice touch, too.

That's an amazing job in any scale, but 1/43 is crazy good. I can't imagine doing all that detail work on something that small. Incredible.

Since my friend Rob is too humble to mention it, I'll tell you all that this model got first place in the Oval category at the Spirit of Speed show this past weekend at the NHRA museum. It's a great model to see in person and well-deserving of the win. Congrats, Rob!

Thanks to all for the kind words and encouragement. I really don't consider myself a contest model builder, but I do like to participate in the shows and it's always nice to get a little recognition from other modelers. BTW, the top 3 places in the Oval racing category of the contest were taken by Indy car models.
