Got the Mol boxes re-built and poured the tires. Also...the Decals are on ( second time around for the rear #s). I'll let them set and snuggle in over night as I use Walthers Solvaset. After applying it...It really wrinkles the decal up annnnd that's not a good time to play with the decal. It sure works good though. Makes the decal look like it's painted on. Hopefully I'll be able to finish this puppy up by tomorrow and post finished pics. But...here's a few pics of the finished tires and wheels.   |

Seeing this pop up was a "wow!" moment for sure. The finished product shows your great work and commitment to the end result. Very nicely done and thank you so much for the WIP so we can see how you got to this great result.

Thank you Dusty.... I'm building the trailer for this team. I need to post a W.I.P on it I guess. It is a major part of the race team. I guess I could post it in this section.
Working the 1/1 cars with NO pressure to get it ready for the NEXT RACE...is way cool...and pretty much fun too...don't you agree? Are you doing the OFFSET Supers? Man...I really need to build one of those offset Supermodifieds. The cars that run in the ISMA series. We have the West Coast Supers...but they're a tad different..of course..LOL. But...they are ALL fast.

This is really a spectacular build. I think making it into a diorama on some old infield grass n dirt would be a fitting display. In a case of course too. Nice work again.

The inspiration behind the build is from when I was in my late teen yrs...driving down the highway with my father and coming up on a rig like this. Also seeing them come into the back gate(pit gate) for the OPEN COMP Races. I've thought about both versions as a DIO. I think the back gate thing would be pretty cool. |
